How many people can live in one studio? Up to two adults comfortably.

Are pets allowed? Currently, they are not.

Is the rent paid in dollars or colones? Payments are made in colones by bank transfer. The rate is fixed, regardless of the exchange rate.

Is there a contract? Yes. Minimum 6 months. We also offer 1, 2, or 3-year contracts at a discount.

The room was a decent size and had a separate kitchen, which we found invaluable! It kind of has a modern motel vibe. The pool, while small, is wonderful for a quick dip to cool off. We visited in early February and temperatures ranged from about 32-37 degrees, so it was a really nice perk. The pool area is well-lit, so is a nice space to sit outside in the evening, as well. A couple of iguanas lived in the tree outside our door and the night before we left (we stayed 3 nights) there were a group of howler monkeys in the trees on the property. As first-time visitors to Costa Rica, it was quite fascinating to see. An access code is required to enter the property, so there is a sense of security, as well. Pepe, the host, is super friendly, lives on the property, and answers his messages very promptly. Side note: The roads to get to Villareal are not great, and at the time of our stay, google maps did not take us to the correct place. I'm sure it's because Villareal is newly built. It was close, but not quite. Look for the black gate on the main road. The location is a quick drive to grocery stores and local shops. And less than a 15 minute drive to Tamarindo. I would definitely recommend renting a car if staying here (or anywhere in Costa Rica tbh). Roads are not always favourable, but there is oh-so-much to see and experience. Would I stay here again? Absolutely."
